Disección de Oído / Ear Dissection

En esta disección de oído se pueden observar diferentes estructuras relacionadas con oído externo, oído medio y el oído interno. Se puede apreciar el conducto o canal auditivo externo, la membrana timpánica con su porción más profunda, el umbo (ombligo). En el oído medio se observan los huesecillos (martillo o malleus, yunque o incus y el estribo o stapes) con el tendón del musculo tensor del tímpano (tensor timpani). En el oído interno se aprecian la ventana oval (fenestra vestibuli) con la base del estribo penetrando en ella, el vestíbulo propiamente dicho y el canal auditivo interno con el nervio vestibulococlear (par craneal VIII)

In this dissection different structure related to external ear, middle ear, and internal ear can be observed. The external auditory canal or meatus, the tympanic membrane with its deeper portion can be appreciated, umbo. In the middle ear, the ossicles (hammer or malleus, anvil or incus and the stirrup or stapes) with the tendon of the tensor tympani muscle. In the internal ear the picture shows oval window (fenestra vestibuli) with the base of the stirrup penetrating in it, the vestibule and the internal auditory canal or meatus with the vestibulococlear nerve (CN VIII)
